LL Cool J Talks Monogamy, Authenticity & His Faith

Award-winning author Peter Bailey continues his critically-acclaimed docu-series meeting up with LL Cool J at Jazz in the Gardens where the two discuss the pop icon's legendary career, his faith that sustains it and unfaithful women in the ever-growing monogamy debate.

That fact LL said a man can be faithful IF he wants to. So yes as imperfect humans God still gives us free will to know right from wrong and hopefully to make good choices if we want to right? But when the interviewer asks the question what makes you want to keep cheating then LL changed the subject by saying "every man for himself" but why is it so hard to know what you want in a woman and committ to her? Why get married if your still going to mess around? Its one thing to make a mistake but to continue to do it knowing its wrong is a whole other level. Take accountability! Don't just cheat ask yourself why your cheating and is it worth it? But like LL said if you continue to cheat that means you want to. I do believe LL is still being unfaithful to his wife that's why he can't properly answer the simple question! What fool has the ability to stop cheating and he doesn't??? If he truly cared about what he could loose he would. Right? LL is not being realistic about mahogany and infedility! If his wife cheated on him would he like it? This isn't about a soccer mom cheating its about you LL the question was for you to answer but you went over the question my man. Sad!

Gods Child

LL been cheating for years. He told alot of his dirty laundry in his book "I make my own rules" some of that was just too much to read and some stuff he could've took to his grave. His wife had to take him back for the money. Ain't no way!! But I'm glad LL is being honest in this interview very interesting!

not mad at the understanding that he & his wife have..  that's their business. & yes no man/woman is perfect but his statement for monogamy for my taste is a cop out.

I wished he would have said more about his own ability to mature into growing into a faithful guy with his wife now. I'd heard he was "wilin' out" before, but thought he was better these days.
